Appointments

Patients are encouraged to make appointment either by calling the Practice on (02) 9532 1144 or via Online Booking system prior coming, but Doctor may accept walk in patients.

Waiting Period

Appointment times are an indication of time patients arrive, however expect some delays as emergencies may be given priority by the Doctor.

Longer Consultations

Longer consultations may be available, please advise reception staff of your requirement.

Walk-In's

Please be aware, Walk-In patient may have an unavoidable longer waiting period as priority is given to patients booked appointment earlier.

Home visits

Home visit is available at the Doctor’s discretion, if the absolute conditions prevent the patient from attending the practice. Please contact the practice for further information and Doctor will be informed, who will determine the eligibility..

After Hours GP Service

Doctor unable to take patient’s call during consultations unless the matter is life threatening/urgent. Doctor may not be able to review messages left for them until the end of the day.

Emergency

If you are experiencing chest pains, difficulty in breathing or severe bleeding, please call for an ambulance or emergency on ‘000’ straight away, please do not phone the practice in this kind of situation.

Investigation Results

Patients will need to book an appointment for follow-up visits for investigation results (Pathology, X-Ray/CT/US/MRI and other tests). It is the patient's responsibility to follow up with their results within 7 days. Doctor may call the patient to return urgently for abnormal results. For privacy and confidentiality, Reception and Nurse are unable to give results over the telephone. Only in rare cases, test results be given over the phone at the GP’s discretion.    

Lost/Repeat Prescription, Referral/Request Form/ Medical Certificate

Please book an appointment for prescription or request for any lost or repeat or change in referral details, medical certificates, request forms, referrals to other specialists and allied health.  

Management of Patient Health Information

Our practice and the doctors we support are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your health information. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.    

Medical Records Transfer

The copy of the medical file can be transferred to another practice by obtaining a valid request form + copy of the patient ID with a $60 fee. A Health Summary can be sent without any cost.    

Patient Feedback

Please speak to a member of the administrative staff if you have any suggestions or you are unhappy with the services you have received, and we will address your issue with feedback.    

Patients who Require Communication Assistance

Please let the reception staff know when making the appointment, so that we can consider this additional requirement. Services such as TIS Interpreter or Auslan Services can be facilitated during your appointment with the Doctor.    

Confidentiality

Medical records are confidential. It is the policy of this Practice to maintain personal health Information secured and ensure that this information is only available to the Doctor and authorised members of the staff.  

PARKING

As the medical centre located in a shopping centre, there are plenty of parking available to adjacent carpark including disable parking. There is easy wheelchair access via a lift to the Practice.

Zero Tolerance of Aggression

This Clinic has a zero tolerance policy on abusive or threatening behaviour. Any behaviour, verbal or physical, which causes Staff to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened, is unacceptable. Any patient who fails to comply, may be removed from the premises.
